I was born in London in 1958. I can't remember a time when mountains were not a big part of my life. Between 1984 and 2003 I have spent an average of 9 months each year in the Himalaya, and during that time began guiding and writing for various outdoor, travel and geographical publications. I also made a lot of wonderful friends.
I've similarly always had a passion for photography. I never travel without a camera, and have yet to be persuaded to go digital. |
