Belle Vue Mountain, Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada

Scoured red earth landslips below the prominent peak of Belle Vue Mountain wash down into Waterton Lakes via rivers roiling multi coloured moraine rocks. While painting I was aware of movement on the slopes above – black bears after berries, fortunately the other side of Waterton Creek!
