Submitting your work
We would like information about you:
- Mini Biography - summary or description of yourself, your career, motivation, interests and general information that is relevant and of interest.
- Web address - any web address links to your website(s) in full e.g. www.myphotos.com
- Contact details - including billing details, full address, telephone, email address. Please note that these details will not be published on the website or disclosed unless we have received permission from you.
For each item we will need clearly marked:
- Title
- Description this can be the story behind the work, including details of inspiration and any technical descriptions, where appropriate e.g. camera, aperture, film, materials used etc.
- Sizes in mm if it is a finished work and frame description.
- Selling Price *include any VAT if you are charging VAT.
- Required information about you please provide an appropriate title shot of yourself, a defining piece or an iconic image for your artist’s page and page titles.
Selling your work
Selling your work easily and automatically as an Exhibiting Member or Featured Artist member of Living Art:
Your images can be sold as
Canvas:
1. On a stretched block frame
2. On a stretched Floater Frame* NEW
Framed Print:
1. Giclée Fine Art Print –soft textured paper; frame & glass
2. Photographic Paper – frame & glass
The buyer is able to calculate the size, format and cost quickly and easily at

Selling your images online
From an uploaded image:
1. Buyer selects the image
2. Buyer selects the printed format & selects frame
3. Living Art pays 20% commission on the selling price (Note: selling price may be lower if selling to registered members who get a 10% discount or on occasional end of exhibition sales)
From a framed print either from the gallery or from the website:
1. You set the selling price of your product to Living Art
2. Living Art sell your product online including an agreed mark-up to cover commission.

Please note your image will not be live on the website as soon as you have uploaded it. We have to approve the images here at Living Art before they go live. They will stay under the PICTURES OFFLINE – Archived or awaiting approval section on you’re My Pictures page. Usually images are approved within 48 hours. They will appear in the relevant classification under PICTURES ONLINE – Live on the website section on you’re My Pictures page.
Receipts, Invoices and Paperwork:
- Where appropriate please supply any invoices to Living Art, 10 Hathersage Business Park, Hathersage, Hope Valley, Derbyshire S32 1DP.
- We will provide receipt of digital work delivered.
- Please supply any receipts or paperwork for finished submitted work.
- If you are VAT registered please supply your VAT number for your commission/royalty payments.
Security at our own premises:
By night: Living Art is a fully secured, insured business premise. It is in a low risk area for such material and to date there have been no theft incidents.
By day: The Living Art Gallery is fully manned by day and all material is watched over. We are insured for all displayed material on a standard small business policy. If, however, you are supplying extraordinary items or items of great personal value please detail your interest similarly. If you have any individual security concerns we would be grateful for details and concerns to be expressed as soon as possible.
Security at other gallery spaces and exhibition premises:
We will ensure that all material is insured as appropriate
