A VISUAL POEM

Above is just a quick preview, a very (very) much simplified story board, of the title audio visual work - The Symphony for the Mountains soon to launch at Kendal Film Festival in November 2007. The Symphony, a celebration of some of the world's most inaccessible mountain landscapes from some of the UK's top mountaineers, outdoor photographers, painters and writers. This work, essentially an interactive visual poem, sets out to express the human experience and spiritual gains from time spent in the world's greatest mountain ranges through the use of photographs, music and  words. The range of images aims to express the enormous breadth of experiences and vistas witnessed in these wild locations. From the   harmonious and healing properties of being above the clouds to the extreme conditions and emotions of world mountaineering.
