‘The Big Picture of Natural Britain’  General Summary

1. The final work will measure a giant 4m x 8m.
2. The image will be a photo mosaic of Great Britain as might be seen from a satellite point of view.
It will comprise 2236 smaller images – your images.
3. There will be only one selected image per entry added – so that everyone gets a chance to enter.

The Big Picture rules of entry

1. Entry is FREE and only available online through the Living Art website (www.living-art.org.uk)
2. Entry is available and open to anybody who appreciates our natural heritage with a digital image. There is no age restriction.
3. Entrants must need to be an Exhibiting member of Living Art to enter images (This is FREE). Click here if you are not already registered as a Living Art member.
Note: Exhibiting Members can easily add further images and utilise our webspace for their own website, they can enjoy member benefits and participation in future Living Art projects – further information available from Exhibiting Members page http://www.living-art.org.uk/members/

About your images

Content
- All images will be from one of the above categories, in short all photographs will be about the UK natural landscape, flora, fauna and the people who work in this the landscape.
- Any images that are of an inappropriate nature will not be authorised.

Uploading
- All images will need to be uploaded through the members area (blue)(do not email them to us please) you will need to register and login first.
- All images to be supplied landscape in format. (Wider than they are taller – the normal 3:2 ratio)
- All images to be digital, in jpeg format and uploaded online through our website.
- All images will need to be keyworded for category (as above) and UK region (as below).

Ireland, Northern Ireland, South of Scotland, Greater Glasgow & the Clyde Valley, Edinburgh & the Lothians Argyll, the Isles, Loch Lomond, Stirling & the Trossachs, Perthshire, Angus & Dundee and the Kingdom of Fife, Aberdeen and Grampian, Highlands and Skye, South East Wales, South West Wales, Mid Wales, North Wales, Yorkshire, West Midlands, South West England, South East England, North West England, North East England, London, East Midlands, East England

- All images will be resized to our optimum display size (507 Pixels x 340 Pixels ) and stored at this size.
- All images submitted will be quickly checked for appropriateness and then approved and made visible in your own website members showcase area. Approval may take up to 48 hours, it may take only minutes depending on our workload and weekends – please be patient.
- Your successful image will be automatically entered into the giant work from this stored and resized image.

The legal bit
- All members will need a valid and current address and email address and if under 18 years of age the permission of any bill payers responsible.
- All members will need to accept our terms and conditions, privacy statement and copyright agreement for this project. These conditions will include copyright permission to use their image soley for the purposes of ‘A Big Picture of Natural Britain’.
