Dragonflies

Dragonflies

© Copyright Lisa MacLeod

This was taken at a large pond just down the road from Dungeness and Lydd airport in Kent. These two were just doing what comes naturally on a reed bordering the pond. It was a vey warm and still late afternoon, and I have never ever seen so many Dragonflies flying around and doing other things, including in flight too! They did not seem bothered by my presence, and I managed to creep quite close.
