This was taken at Perranporth beach, Cornwall. I was just walking past some rocks, and happened to look over and saw the gap in the rocks, and a surfer who had just laid his board agains a rock, and then started to walk up the beach. It was almost like seeing an image through a keyhole and just struck me as a potentially good picture. When I downloaded it, I tried changing it to black and white and thought it looked better.

I have been interested in photography ever since I was old enough to hold a camera, my first camera being a Kodak instamatic! I have only moved to digital in the last year or so, and find I am learning more and quicker by being able to see the results on the view screen immediately, rather than waiting for the film to be developed - I still like film photograpy but find digital has helped me improve my pictures greatly. |
