The Cornish Coast provides unique growing conditions and at the far west corner the Minack Theatre occupies some of the steep Cornish granite cliffs which are so typical of that area. On this small outcrop can be found growing Aeoniums, more associated with the Mediterranean the British Isles. This is just one study of this attractive plant.

I enjoy photography as both a hobby and as a kind of personal discipline. ‘Seeing’ a photograph before you even lift the camera to your eye is the real art, for me at least. Anyone can snap a picture but I want to catch more and it’s a struggle to achieve this. A lot of the time I fail and return home disappointed, but occasionally my little skill and the situation collide and I capture something which I know is special. That’s why I practise photography, for those special moments. |
