Exhibiting Members : Bill Bevan

Bill Bevan is an archaeologist, writer, photographer and one-time DJ. He has also worked as a tour guide at Wordsworth's Dove Cottage, Grasmere and excavated in central France. Bill is author of The Upper Derwent: 10,000 years in a Peak District valley, has regularly appeared on Radio 4 and was a consultant to BBC 2's "Timeflyers". His next book is a pictorial guide to Peak District archaeology called Exploring Ancient Peakland which is due to be published in May 2007 by Halsgrove. Check out Unity Dub's Voyage Into Paradise on Liquid Sound Design Records. That's Bill's dub and chillout mix on the record label owned by Youth, ex of Killing Joke. His favourite photography subjects are archaeological sites, travel and working subjects.
