Competitions : The Big Picture Competition : Landscape : Heath and Moorland

Home to many species of plant and animal alike, these areas can come into themselves at certain times of the year such as in August the vast sweeping carpets of heather. They are great places to explore and similarly offer a fantastic opportunity for photography.
