Olivier and Danielle Föllmi divide their time between the French Alps and the Himalayas. Olivier has been taking photographs of the Himalayas for twenty-five years, and his award-winning images have been seen all over the world. Danielle is a doctor and has set up health and nutrition programmes in Tibetan schools. Together they have written fourteen books, among them the acclaimed Buddhist Himalayas and Where Heaven and Mountains Meet, also published by Thames & Hudson.
