Robert Smith
I am currently studying for a Masters in Chemistry at the University of Sheffield but my life revolves around sports, travelling, great food and photography or preferably a mixture of all four. I work as a freelance graphic and website designer specialising in corporate identities, advertisements and web infrastructures.
I love outdoor sports and find myself heading for the Peak District (the main reason for studying at Sheffield Uni.) as often as possible to climb, walk, run & cycle. The rolling hills of the Peaks are great for beautiful skies, great geography and English culture that I try to capture in my Photography.
I have lived most of my life in the county of Northumberland, England, in a small town called Morpeth. Morpeth is a market town that is close to the Beach (20mins) and the hills (30mins) which makes it perfect for walking my two dogs and taking part in a wide range of outdoor activities.
I currently own two cameras. My main camera is now a Nikon D300 DSLR and I also use a Nikon Coolpix 5600 compact camera when I cannot transport a bulky SLR. I am currently growing my lens selection for my DSLR and intend to buy a nice selection as and when the money becomes available. I used to own a Sony Alpha 100 DSLR but this got stolen much to my annoyance.
