Description

This shot of Stanage Edge near the village of Hathersage in the English Peak District National Park was taken late one day in early September.

I wanted to capture the evening light in the cliff face with a dramatic sky overhead. I had spent some time walking along the Edge looking for a composition that I was happy with. I liked this location because of the strong foreground but also because you can see more of the Edge far off in the distance too.
