Description

This is Millstone Edge on Hathersage Moor near the village of Hathersage in the English Peak District National Park. The photo was taken in early September.

The quality of the light at the end of the day was great and the sky was very dramatic. The low angle of the light really picked out the detail on the rock face and emphasised the Heather in the foreground.
