I have managed to work within photography for most of my professional life. As a freelance photographer I worked for all sorts of clients such as theatres and arts organisations, corporate communications, banks, businesses, universities and charities, magazines and newspapers. Now I mostly teach. Introducing people to the subject also helped to refresh my own interest and enthusiasm, which does fluctuate when you do it for a living. Now I am involved in a longer term project with the John Muir Trust, photographing some of the wild natural landscapes that they look after.
