Joy Newbould

I first became interested in photography whilst studying for a degree at Bretton Hall College in the early eighties. The college grounds, being the home of the well known 'Yorkshire Sculpture Park', were my inspiration. I started out with a fully manual Pentax K1000 35mm camera and spent many hours in the college darkroom developing my black and white images. After leaving college, my interest turned into passion after attending a photography course. With the advent of digital photography, a whole new creative side has opened up to the subject and I currently teach the subject in venues around the Derbyshire region. I am now even more addicted! I hope you enjoy my images.
