Deer Creek flows into Thunder River. Water emerges from the Grand Canyon beneath the Supi Red Walls and flows through a series of canyons into the Colorado River. Deer Creek has carved its intricate course through soft Muave limestone leaving plunge pools, slot gorges and waterfalls surrounded by cushions of moss, Maidenhair fern and Columbine flowers. © John Beatty
